Amaira's POV:

The next two days after Confession flew in blink of an eye as we enjoyed ourselves indoor because of the heavy rainfall, we spent one day watching movies, series, sharing childhood memories, and the another we made it a pool day where we spent our day enjoying in the pool at farmhouse, the farmhouse is now surrounded in lush green bushes with the dense forest afar, the smell of earth providing comfort and the company I have with me is making me live my childhood dreams, aayan even completed his promise by surprising me with sunflower bouquet, a pair of jhumka and cake  which obviously we all enjoyed together, he even booked our tickets to the movie but we have to cancel it last minute because of the rainfall, our friendship has taken a different turn after we put out all the pent up emotions infront of each other, it has grown into more beautiful bond, a bond more like a brother sister now than bestfriends, I am happy to see them happy together.

Finally, after two days, the rain has subsided, but the weather is still cloudy. Right now we are setting up the terrace for our Antakshari session. We setup two mattresses opposite each other with a small table in between for all the foods and stuff, a bonfire on one side, and we were done with our dinner early so that we could have an early game session.

Antakshari is basically a game where we have to make groups and sing the songs with the last letter of the opposite team's song. We divided ourselves into two groups: group one, me and Aayan; group two, Manvi and Reyansh; we sat opposite each other, and here we started with our Antakshari.

Author's POV:

"sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa", "sa sa it's sa for you guys you have to sing a song that starts with letter S. Let's keep this game as rapid fire where only 10 seconds will be given to think of any song. The loser team will be given a task," Manvi explained as they all settled in their groups. Reyansh and Manvi sat opposite to Aayan and Amaira. "3, 2, 1, start," Manvi said as the opposite team started thinking about the song.

Amaira sang as they all settled there, listening to her melodious voice. "Se, it's S for you guys too," she said as Manvi instantly sang "Subhanallah... Jo Ho Raha Hai Pehli Dafaa Hai Wallah,Aisa Hua," she sang loudly as Reyansh let out a throaty laugh while Amaira and Aayan looked at each other before breaking out in laughter.

"Stopppp, it's 0 for your team," Amaira said. "Hawww, how is it so? I was singing it correctly," Manvi protested. "It's not that you will start the song from any point of it; it should be the proper starting of the song," Aayan explained, and they resumed their game.

With laughter, melodious voices filled the air, and with freezing cold winds blowing, they all sat there wrapped in warm blankets as they played the game, the bonfire providing the required warmth.

After a while, team Manvi got the letter 'A'. Manvi was thinking throughly, "Tick tick 1, tick tick 2," team Amaira started counting, "Hey, stop, stop, its not fair, I am still thinking," manvi said huridly, and returned back to discuss the songs with Reyansh. As team Amaira continued with the counting "tick tick 9," they reached it till 9, and before they said 10, Reyansh's voice cut them off.

He sang his eyes constantly lingering on Amaira, her eyes meeting his in an instant, butterflies making their way inside her stomach, the thumping of her heart hearing the lyrics of the song, his voice, his eyes, and everything about him made her heart flutter. He sang, maintaining their eye contact, but their moment came to an end when the rain poured upon them and they all instantly ran under the roof.

The next day:

Amaira's POV:

It's date day of manvi and aayan, so to give them privacy me and reyansh decided to stay back at farmhouse, they were going for site seeing a little far away from Igatpuri because we have almost covered the spots and also some are left which we have scheduled for further days, they left the farmhouse at 12:00 noon because it was rainy in the morning so they had to wait till the rain slows alittle, I came back to our room after bidding goodbye to them and lie down on the bed covering myself with the comfy duvet, I got my periods this morning and now that finally I am taking some rest the cramps has to take the toll over me, touchwood that I never had worst cramps it's just always back and leg pain but it did hurt on first and second day, I lied there and within few minutes my eyes flapped closed and I was in deep slumber, even tho in deep sleep I have always been a light sleeper even a slightest sound can wake me up.

After almost what felt like two hours I heard a familiar voice  "amaira....amaira....."  lazily I opened my eyes to see reyansh standing at the door trying to wake me up, I smiled internally seeing how gentleman of him to not enter the room without permission, i woke up keeping a cushion behind my back I sat, "it's time for lunch, I was here to ask if you want to join now or later, I mean have your lunch it's already past 1 and you haven't had enough breakfast today" he said looking at everything but me, I smiled internally as butterflies danced inside me seeing him noticing things I never notice about.

"oh yes I'll be there in few minutes" I said, he nodded and turned to go but returned back and handed me a pack of dark chocolate, I looked at him surprised, " have it, it might help in reducing the pain, I have bought a hot water bag for you, i have kept it downstairs" he said as I smiled and thanked him about all this. He returned back down and I went after freshening up.

After lunch we spent the afternoon watching "Yeh Jawani Hei Deewani" it was comfortable to be around reyansh even tho the slightest eye contact has alot of effects on me and these hormones that are at its peak due to periods literally made me stare at him more than it needed but it was a very casual and fun afternoon, he even prepared the hot water bag for me to take some warmth from it.

Later that evening,

It is the time of sunset and i have came up on terrace to seek the view, reyansh has gone out to take a walk, he asked me but I refused because I had no power to walk in the muddy streets on my first day, I sat on one of the chairs on the terrace  and watched the setting sun, it was probably dark early today because of the rainy season, the clouds of rain coated the sky and breezy winds blowned, I stood and went near the railings and kept my hands on the metal which was now icy cold, i looked around and witnessed the utter silence, darkness everywhere, even tho there were other farmhouses at some distance they were probably closed due to the rainy season, we are lucky enough that this was owned by reyansh.

I was busy walking on the terrace tracing the cold metal railings with my fingertips when I heard creak sound of front gate opening indicating the arrival of reyansh, but before I could confirm it the lights went off.

Bolt of Fear rushed through my veins, because now it was all dark, kohl black was all I could see, my body shivered with fear, all my life the only thing I feared the most was darkness, I immediately searched for my phone but it was nowhere because I kept it downstairs to avoid the distraction.

DARK, DARKNESS, NO ONE AROUND ME, THIS MIGHT BE THE END, I DONT WANT TO DIE, ITS TOO DARK, I CANNOT BREATHE.

my face covered with unstoppable tears, my throat aching because I couldn't form words not enough to call anyone out, I clutched tightly onto the railings and once for my life I tried to scream, failed attempt.

I broke down in tears my voice echoing the surrounding "HELP HELP" I finally screamed my lungs out, I was breathless with all the negative thoughts running in my head, I turned and walked a little to a direction that what I consider as the direction towards the door and the blackness covered my brain "REYANSH" I screamed for the last time and my body gave up, my eyes betrayed to stay open, my body trembled and I almost collapsed becoming unconscious, and the last thing i remembered was me being lifted up in someone's arms instead of hitting to the cold floor. My vision blank, black and dark.
